Background: Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music, having studied and continues to study piano performance and history. She has performed at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, and regularly performs solo and collabortive at BW.
Additionally, Katie is an avid organist and has given several combined piano/organ recitals. Although she enjoys teaching and listening to all genres of music, she typically performs classical music. Away from the piano, Katie enjoys reading, hiking, spending time with her cats, and creating fun and educational classical music content on her social media accounts, @katiekeyboard.
Ms. Katie has over seven years of teaching experience and began teaching at the School of Music in 2022. She loves sharing her passion for music with her students. In lessons, Katie strives to provide her students with a strong foundation of rhythm, technique, note-reading, and artistic creativity. While creating a focused and driven lesson environment, Katie’s main goal is for her students to enjoy playing and gain a lifelong appreciation for music.
