Ms. Mary S

Ms. Mary is a dedicated violinist with over 5,848 consecutive days of practice. She has studied at the Ottawa Suzuki Strings Institute and Oberlin Conservatory of Music, under renowned teachers including Shirley Star, Joseph Kaminsky, and Almita Vamos.
A recipient of the G.A., Jr. and Kathryn M. Buder Music Scholarship (2021-2024), Ms. Mary has won multiple competitions, including first place in the Rising Talents Competition, the Northland Symphony Orchestra Young Artist Competition, and the Missouri Federation of Music Clubs Concerto Competition. She made her debut with the Town and Country Symphony Orchestra in 2022 and has performed with the Gateway Symphony Orchestra and University City Symphony Orchestra.
Beyond her musical accomplishments, Ms. Mary enjoys playing classical guitar and competes as a Fourth-Degree Black Belt in Global Traditional Martial Arts. She also loves watching Disney short films with her younger sister, bringing a joyful, fun spirit to everything she does.
As a teacher, Ms. Mary combines her technical expertise with a passion for making learning enjoyable. She believes in creating a positive, supportive environment where students can have fun while building their skills.
