Background: Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music, vocal music education with performance emphasis.
Ms. Kate's goals for her students are that they develop a strong foundation in music reading and technique, but most importantly that they have fun while growing as a musician. She uses Kodaly rhythm practices, the solfège system, and other strong methods in vocal pedagogy. She loves teaching and performing, enjoying all genres of music, from jazz to musical theater to classical.
Ms. Kate is great at keeping all of her students engaged during lessons and is prepared to teach students of any age. She dreams that all of her students will gain an appreciation for music and be confident in themselves. She has been teaching for over 3 years.
