Background: Oberlin Conservatory of Music, guitar performance. Mr. Nik is an international prize-winning guitarist and teacher. He took first place in the Sydney Eisteddfod Guitar in 2019 and 2021 respectively and was a selected member for performing for the Encore Recital series at the Sydney Opera House in 2020. In 2023, Mr. Nik won the prestiguous Tuesday Musical Guitar Competition and placed second in the Adelaide International Guitar Competition. He was invited to perform solo recitals with the Sydney Classical Guitar Society and the Tuesday Musical Club. He also took second place in the Parkening International Youth Competition in 2019. He was awarded the Ernest Hatch Wilkens Memorial Prize for Academic Excellence. Most recently, he took first place in the Unversity of Louiseville Guitar Competition in October of 2023. Mr. Nik has been teaching over 5 years.
Mr. Nik has a passion for showing students from a young age the way to gain a mindful understanding of efficient and relaxed playing, while lowering the risk of injury. He teaches all styles from classical to rock and all popular music. He enjoys helping students learn the music they want to play.
