Before that, he studied Music Education at Belmont University and received his Bachelor of Music, studying bass with Craig Nelson. He helps Robert grow as a musician and feel good about his effort. Robert is enjoying his lessons and looks forward to them. He especially likes how Mr. Steven patiently explains notations and describes how the music should sound in a way that Robert can understand. He sometimes clarifies how a piece should sound by singing the notes with made up words, which is particularly helpful. Robert’s tone and timing has improved in just a few weeks and Mr. Brija helped him fine tune his pieces for what turned out to be a very successful audition.
